This program takes the students through different phases to getting to excellence in leadership. Covered are; developing yourself, developing your people, developing your organization and those crucial firehouse communications. Lecture, role playing and group hands on workshops make up this class. Also discussed are having a “vision” and “mission statement” and coming away with a plan for personal and departmental improvement, to take back to the firehouse. Learned techniques can be used at home, on the job and while navigating the “shark tank” of Town Hall.
