Marine Firefighting Awareness Cancelled

The automatic fire pump seminar is a one-day training class that is a mixture of classroom instruction and working fire pumps located inside of the training facility. The classroom training will provide the student with a working knowledge of the fire pump, its controllers and the various components that make up the assembly. Interactive learning modules would include a fire pump test, fire pump operation after a head is activated through the use of the live burn demonstration trailer and the resetting of the system. NFPA 25 inspections for fire pumps will be touched on with regards to testing. All classes begin at 8:30 a.m. and end approximately 5 p.m. Classes are held at the Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 696 located at: 41 E. Willow St. #43, Millburn, NJ 07041. Lunch will be provided, but students should bring their own snacks/beverages for break times. Seats are limited. Please do not register for this class unless you are committed to attending and willing to withdraw 72 hours prior to the class date if you need to cancel. Withdraw instructions are provided on page * . No shows will not be permitted to register for any Sprinkler Fitter Local Union 696 Lab courses for a full year and will be withdrawn from any other Sprinkler Fitter Local Union 696 Lab courses they may be currently enrolled in and will receive an administrative NO SHOW on their transcript.
