New Jersey Weekend 2025 – CANCELLED

NJ WEEKEND HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Dear New Jersey Student,

New Jersey Weekend 2025 has been cancelled . I will contact all registered students in regard to how to return payments that were submitted. I am super disappointed that we had to cancel but unfortunately the Federal Government has decided to not open the NFA for our scheduled weekend as planned. (see email below for reference) We are in the process of selecting courses for next year’s weekend. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused but it’s out of my hands. Greetings New Jersey Partners –

I appreciate your patience, support, and granting a few extra days before we make the decision on New Jersey Weekend at the NFA.

With regret, I share with you that I have not received the green light to resume in-person classes at the National Fire Academy. I know it’s not the news you were hoping for, and it’s not the news I wanted to deliver. I am sorry that we will be unable to offer the classes as we had planned as we work to ensure compliance with federal government directives and guidelines.

You have done a great job getting the word out to career and volunteer fire service personnel and we were looking forward to having you all in Emmitsburg. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to host NJ Weekend as we had planned on May 31 – June 1, 2025.

Through this email, I will ask our team to notify those enrolled and the instructors. I ask that you share the cancellation of NJ Weekend at the NFA with those enrolled on your end.

Once we get permission to resume classes, we will be in touch.
